
This April, Pizza Project turns up the fun and invites you to climb our Heat Ladder. Pizza has always been a playground of flavours — from meat and seafood to vegetable‑led creations and playful cross‑cultural twists. And to mark nearly a year of monthly specials we’ve dreamed up something a little wilder. Meet the Heat Ladder: one pizza, six escalating heat zones, perfect for sharing, teasing your mates’ spice tolerance and enjoying a good‑natured nudge over a slice (or six).
Spicy Hot Pizza — Six slices, six escalating heat intensities (HKD180)
Think of this as a tasting tour of chilli culture, not a gauntlet. Each pie is divided into six distinct slices, each smothered in its own signature sauce, so you can nibble, taunt and compare with friends. We use a bright marinara base and skip the cheese so the spicy sauces can sing louder. Prefer cheese on the side? Just ask and we’re happy to oblige! Want more sauce on a slice? Our team’s always glad to add an extra drizzle.

The six fiery slices:
- Sriracha — gentle, garlicky charm (1,800–2,200 Scoville)
A smooth opener with garlicky tang, fried onions and shards of garlic for a little crunch. The kind of slice you steal when no one’s looking.
- Chipotle — smoky, laid‑back swagger (2,500–3,000 Scoville)
Smoked jalapeño meets roasted red peppers with a whisper of vinegar and sugar. Smoky, sweet and utterly moreish — the one you’ll go back to for another bite.
- Mexican Green Sauce — zesty, herbaceous pep (4,500–5,500 Scoville)
A bright verde of green tomatoes, green chillies, shallots, coriander and lime. Fresh, lively and a cheeky palate refresher that keeps the banter rolling.
- Tabasco Habanero — tropical tease (7,000–8,000 Scoville)
Fruity habanero with hints of mango and tamarind, topped with crisp fried cauliflower for textural fun. Sweet, punchy and a little flirty.
- XX Peri‑Peri — bold, smoky intensity (175,000–200,000 Scoville)
African Bird’s Eye chillies married with garlic, lemon and warm spices, paired with spicy salami. Serious on flavour, playful in delivery — a proper talking point.
- Scorpion — the showstopper (500,000–1,000,000 Scoville)
The headliner: Trinidad Scorpion pepper brings a fruity, formidable sting, soothed a touch by green chillies and jalapeños. Share this one slowly and with dramatic flair.
Friendly note: Upper levels are notably hot. Pace yourself, share the fun and keep a cooling drink or something dairy‑based at the ready.
